Customer: State Social Security Agency (SSSA)

Integrated web services implementing SOA were needed to simplify information availability to citizens regarding taxes paid, social benefits and pensions. The system should also ensure the functionality, accessibility, authorization, tracebility, maintenance and administration of the e-services.

Business challenge:

  • Provide information for citizens about paid taxes, social allowances, pensions and other information from the State Social Insurance Agency (SSIA) through the national portal
  • Enable data exchange between SSIA and other state information systems

Business results:

  • Developed 11 publicly accessible SSIA e-services that are accessible 24/7 from anywhere
  • Saved time and resources of both the state sector and its clients – the people of Latvia
  • Eliminated overlapping and duplication of systems
